Abstract

PURPOSE: To effectively cool or heat and to save energy, by arranging a motor- operated valve at the outlet side of a radiator having a circulating fan thereby when heating is required, the circulating fan is started or stopped by a room temperature thermostat, and when cooling is required, the motor-operated valve is controlled to open or close.
CONSTITUTION: The motor-operated valve 7 arranged at the outlet side of a heat exchanger 7 can be opened or closed by an operation switch and the room temperature thermostat 5 through a control circuit. When the apparatus is in heating operation, the room temperature is controlled only by the starting and stopping operation of the circulating fan 4, and when in cooling operation, the room temperature is controlled by controlling the motor-operated valve 8 to be opened or closed. When the motor-operated valve 8 is closed, the heat source and the circulating pump are stopped by a control body, so that the cooling operation is effeciently effected with saved energy.
