Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase the thermal efficiency of the titled cooking apparatus by a method wherein an exhaust port is provided in the upper wall of a heating chamber at a position opposite to the inner wall thereof provided with a cross- flow fan. CONSTITUTION:The heating chamber 2 is provided within the body 1 of the heat cooking apparatus and a heater 3 and a saucer 4 are provided in the upper and lower portions in the heating chamber 2 while a shelf 5 is provided between the heater 3 and the saucer 4. Further, the cross-flow fan 7 is attached to the inner wall 8 of the heating chamber so as to circulate hot water through the chamber and to heat and cook the upper and lower surfaces of a cooking material 6. In this case, the exhaust port 9 is provided in the upper wall of the heating chamber 2 opposite to the inner wall 8 thereof so that a part of the heated air is discharged from the exhaust port 9 as well as through an exhaust guide 11 and an exhaust port 12. Further, a reverse flow checking strip 13 and a switching means 16 are provided in the exhaust port 9 whereby heat around the exhaust port 9 is prevented from dissipating outside and at the same time, the infiltration of outside cool air into the room is prevented.
