Abstract

PURPOSE: To execute steam, electric heat and high-frequency heating over wide ranges, by adjusting the opening degrees of an exhaust passage and a suction passage in response to the kinds of heating sources.

CONSTITUTION: A suction shutter 60 is set at a position A and an exhaust shutter 74 at a position A respectively when heating food with steam, a heating chamber is tightly shut and food is heating cooked with steam. When selecting high-frequency heating, both shutters 60, 74 are set at the positions A, and suction sucked from a suction hole located at the front of a range by the action of a fan cools a trans- magnetron, passes through a duct 58 and is exhausted from an exhaust hole 65. When cooking food with electric heat, the shutters 60, 74 are held at half-open locations B, and hot air discharged from an introducing port 59 is exhausted from the exhaust hole 65 without flowing backward to the magnetron side. Since the shutter 74 intercepts the approximate two third of exhaust passage sectional area, the detecting capacity of a temperature detecting portion 73 excellently follows up the temperature of the heating chamber, and an electric heat portion is right controlled . These various kinds of cooking can automatically continued by means of a timer.
