Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the heat loss from piping and a rediator by a method wherein the start and stop of a blast fan operation for blowing cooling air upon a heat exchanger and the opening and closing of a valve of piping for flowing heating medium such as hot water, cold water or the like directly to the heat exchanger are performed simultaneously and synchronously with each other.
CONSTITUTION: A valve 7 to open and close piping 1 for heating medium and an electrode 10 are installed on the handle shaft 9 of a control switch 5, being arranged 50 that the opening and closing of the valve 7 and ON or OFF of electric contacts 6 are performed synchronously by turning a handle 11. When the control switch 5 is put to the stop position to make a radiator main body 3 not in use, not only a blast fan is stopped to blow air upon a heat exchanger 2 but hot or cold water is also stopped to flow through a piping 1 for flowing heating medium to the radiator 3 and the heat exchanger 2.
