Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the load of the heat pump chiller by raising the temperature of the warm water through mixing with the water in an insulated water tank when the temperature thereof in the tank is higher.
CONSTITUTION: For example, when a sensor 17 provided in an insulated water tank 2 detects the temperature of the water exceeding 45°C, the water is sent to a heat pump chiller 6 through an outgoging pipe 14 with adjustment of flow rate of water in a return pipe 10 to be sent from a first mixing three-way valve 11 to the second mixing three-way valve 12. Under a proportional control, the amount of hot water higher than 45°C is adjusted so that the temperature of the mixed water is maintained at 45°C, while a second mixing valve 12 allows a bypass pipe 13 to open to form the first circulation line for feeding a coil 8 with the hot water. Thus, heating is performed. When cooling, the line of the insulated water tank 2 is closed with the first mixing three-way valve so that water is fed to the fan coil 8 circulating through a cooling water circuit of the heat pump chiller 6. Accordingly, the load of the heat pump chiller can be reduced.
