Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce electric power consumption by providing a titled circuit with a power source for applying voltage to a contact and a power source flowing current into the contact independently. CONSTITUTION:When a contact 11 is opened, power voltage is applied from a power source 13 to the contact 11 through a high resistance 12B and, a light emitting diode 16A is turned on and illuminated and an output of an inverter 17 is turned to a high level. When the contact 11 is closed, current from the power source 13 flows into the contact 11 through a diode 14 and electric power to be applied to the light emitting diode 16A is interrupted. Consequently, the output of the inverter 17 is turned to a low level. Since the power source 12A is 48V and the power source 13A is 5V, the whole power consumption 8 is reduced.
