Abstract
PURPOSE:To shorten offset processing time in such a way that, when moving distance of the wire electrode is made shorter or longer than the actual one in keeping with non-parallelism of the working end face and the wire electrode, an offset value is automatically decided by adding and/or subtracting correction values. CONSTITUTION:In case where a work 1 and a wire electrode 2 become short- circuit condition, input power v0 in a limit circuit 11 will be 0V, and its output voltage v1 will be 0V. And the condition of the work 1 and the wire electrode 2 is recognized if it is contact or non-contact by means of having these values given as input to a computer part 7. When roughness on the machining face of the work 1 is large, or the wire electrode 2 ovepasses the working end face, further it is bent and moved to the left, and the moving distance of the wire electrode 2 is made shorter or larger than the actual one, the determined compensating value K is adjusted in its moving distance, so that it can be made into a value equivalent to the normal moving distance between the machining end faces, and offset values are computed. On the basis of these values, offset processing is done for automatically forming into the desired machining shape.
