Abstract

PURPOSE:To attain low noise processing by providing 1st and 2nd drive circuits so as to apply two-stage operation thereby preventing the occurrence of overshoot or undershoot. CONSTITUTION:The 1st drive circuit 10, the 2nd drive circuit 11 and an output voltage detection circuit 12 are provided. In case of the leading, after the output potential rises up to (VDD-VTN) at first by the 1st drive circuit 10, the potential reaches +VDD by the 2nd drive circuit 11 and in case of the trailing, the output potential is lowered till the level VTP by the 1st drive circuit 10, the level reaches -VSS (zero potential) by the 2nd drive circuit 11. Thus, the potential at the output terminal exceeds the power supply voltages finally and only the 1st drive circuit 10 is operated at the initial stage of the output change and the potential changes only in a range narrower than the power voltage range. Thus, the transient current is suppressed lower, neither overshoot nor undershoot takes place to attain a low noise output drive circuit.
