Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve accuracy, save energy and reduce cost by providing a press machine with a pressure doubling mechanism that obtains stroke of pressing direction by a slanted plate which is slidden in the direction perpendicular to the direction of pressing. CONSTITUTION:An outer casing 9a of a force doubling mechanism 9 is divided into an upper chamber and a lower chamber and a slanted plate 9b is inserted into the lower chamber and connected to a fluid pressure cylinder 9c which is attached to the side of the outer casing 9a. A slanted plate 9d has the same inclination with the slanted 9b and inserted into the outer casing 9a. Interval pieces 9f and rollers 9g are inserted above and below a slanted plate 9e in the upper chamber of the outer casing 9a and the slanted plate 9e is connected with a screw at the tip of a fluid pressure cylinder 9h. When pressing is completed, rods of fluid pressure cylinders 9h and 9c are extended to form a gap between the indented groove of a C-beam and the projection of a lever, and the work is taken out of the press.
