Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain the captioned machine which is applicable to a press extremely easily, by providing a mechanism to introduce the working fluid for press ram into the cylinder for punch ram and operte the both rams in mutual relation by double- acting system, to the slide end face of the press.
CONSTITUTION: A press ram 2 is pressed down by working fluid in a cavity 7, and upper and lower dies 15, 16 are brought to tight contact each other, while a punch 10 lowers together with a cylinder 9, so that relative movement does not occur between the two. If the pressure of the working fluid is further increased, since the total volume of cavity 7, passage 11, and upper chamber 12 is large, and the pressure increase is canceled by the compression of the working fluid, so that the fluctuations of volume of the material 18 may be eliminated. When the pressure of the working fluid decreases, the ram 10 is raised by the pressure of the lower chamber 14, and the punch 10a is drawn out from the material. Next, a return cylinder 4 pulls up the ram 2, slide 1, and die 15 through a push-up ram 5, and the material is taken out.
