Abstract

A body with supply passages for the pneumatic or hydraulic ram (1) screws into the inlet port of the latter, and has a feeler (28) actuated by the damper ring (14) on the ram piston (12). This feeler in turn actuates a control device when the ram reaches the end of its stroke. There can be drillings (24, 24') in the side of the body at the bottom, through which fluid is delivered to the ram. The control device can be in the form of a pneumatic micro-valve, or an electric micro-switch. The design is readily adaptable to all rams of standard pattern.
