Abstract

PURPOSE:To manufacture a high-strength concrete-steel pipe composite pile having an uniform inside diameter by a small manufacturing apparatus in which an expandible concrete is packed into the inner and outer pipes of a double steel pipe, consolidated, and hardened, PC steels are pierced through the packed concrete, and then a prestress is applied. CONSTITUTION:An expandible concrete is packed into inner and outer steel pipes 1 and 2, consolidated, and hardened. Then, a prestress is applied through PC steels 5 whose both ends are fixed to the steel pipes 1 and 2. Since the pile has an uniform inside diameter, an auger machine can be used properly without any trouble, and also since the pile has a high strength, its diameter can be made smaller than that of the conventional ones and the driving force required can be reduced.
