Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a concrete-steel pipe composite pile having a high strength by a method in which cylindrical pieces having small holes through which a PC steel material are pierced are fitted on the outside of a steel pipe, a grout is injected into the aperture between the cylindrical pieces and the steel pipe, and then a prestress is applied through the PC steel material. CONSTITUTION:A large number of concrete cylindrical pieces 2 are fitted on the outside of a steel pipe 1, PC steel materials 6 are pierced through small holes 5 axially formed in the cylindrical pieces 2, and a grout is injected into the aperture between the steel pipe and the cylindrical pieces and between the cylindrical pieces. Then, a prestress is applied through the PC steel materials whose both ends are fixed to the steel pipe 1. By this, a composite pile having a high strength can be obtained because the steel pile 1 is integrately and pressingly combined with the concrete cylindrical pieces 2.
