Abstract
PURPOSE:To detect the slant angle as an electric signal in a simple constitution, by providing a reflecting surface which always faces the direction of gravity, by detecting the displacement of a reflected beam by an incident beam which is inputted keeing a constant relationship with a reference surface. CONSTITUTION:A resistor part 7, a light conducting part 6, and an electrode 8 are formed on a substrate 5. Lead wires are connected to terminals 10-12. For example, the shape of the resistor part 7 is uniformly formed so that an equation Q=tan<-1>(X/1+X<2>) is satisfied by laser trimming and the like. In this way, the light conducting part, on which the beam 1a reflected by the reflecting surface, is conducted and the resistance value is decreased. Meanwhile, resistance of the part, on which the light is not irradiated, is high. Therefore relationship R3>>R2 is obtained. In this relationship, R1 is the resistance between the terminals 10 and 11 of the resistor part 7, R2 is the resistance of the light irradiated part of the light conducting body 6, while R3 is the resistance of the dark part. Therefore the R3 is to be neglected and an equivalent electric circuit as shown in the Figure is obtained. In this simple constitution, the slant angle can be detected as the electric signal.
