Abstract
PURPOSE:To ensure smooth restarting of operation in a computer system, by securing an antiearthquake system for each of the machinery constituting the computer system based on the priority and after sensing the early slight shocks of the earthquake. CONSTITUTION:The early slight shocks of an earthquake are detected by a sensor 10 and sent to a control circuit 8, and the circuit 8 decides the priority of control based on the states of each of the machine monitored at that moment such as a CPU1 plus peripheral machines 2-7. Based on this priority, each machine is set under a stop mode. Accordingly, not only the data is protected for the computer system when the main shock of the earthquake occurs but each machine can have its own antiearthquake system. Thus smooth restarting is ensured for operation of the system.
