Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a thermal head capable of reducing power applied to a resistor and minimizing waste of a heat sensitive paper by separately forming a pair of electrode conductors on the right and left of a small flat surface of an insulating surface bent roughly arc in the cross section and a resistor thereon. CONSTITUTION:The top surface of an insulative substrate 10 is bent roughly arc in the cross section while a small flat surface is formed at the center thereof. A pair of electrode conductors 20 and 20 are separately formed on the right and on the left thereof and a resistor 30 on the small flat surface. This makes the contact between the resistor 30 and a heat sensitive paper 4 so even to transmit heat of the resistor 30 to the paper 4 effectively. Accordingly, a large space is produced between the top surface of the substrate 10 and the paper 4 thereby reducing a margin the heat sensitive paper 4.
