Abstract

PURPOSE:To raise the efficiency of a heat emitting section of a separate type heat exchanging apparatus which is intended for recovering waste heat of a factory or the like located at a remote place, by constituting a heat exchanging section for heating external fluid to be heated by dividing the heat emitting section into an upper vapor introducing chamber and a lower working fluid returning chamber, and commuicating these chambers via condenser tubes. CONSTITUTION:A heat exchanging section 2 is constituted by defining a vapor introducing chamber 17 and a working fluid returning chamber 19 in a heat emitting section 2 and communicating these two chambers 17, 19 with each other via condenser tubes 9, and an external fluid to be heated is supplied to the heat exchanging section 18. With such an arrangement, working fluid carried to the heat receiving section 1 by a pump 3 and heated into vapor at a heat exchanging section 15 is carried via a vapor pipe 5 into the vapor introducing chamber 17 of the heat emitting section 2. The vapor of working fluid thus introduced into the chamber 17 transmits heat to the external fluid to be heated and condensed while flowing downward along the condenser tubes 9. On the other hand, the condensate liquid is returned to the heat receiving section 1 via a supply pipe 7 by means of the pump 3. Thus, it is enabled to raise the efficiency of the heat emitting section.
