Abstract

PURPOSE: To efficiently use the heat of hot water for floor heating and reduce motive power consumption, by applying a working liquid so that heat which is caused to flow through a hot water pipe laid in the transverse direction of the body of a panel is spread to the entire surface of the panel and radiated.
CONSTITUTION: A working liquid such as chlorodifluoromethane, ammonia or water is provided in the vacuum interior of the body 5 of a panel. An evaporation zone 1 is provided at one end of the body 5 as to its transverse direction. A hot water pipe 3, through which hot water is caused to flow, is laid through the evaporation zone 1. When the evaporation zone 1 is heated, the working liquid is evaporated and quickly moves to the other end (condensation zone) 2 to discharge latent heat. The vapor changes into the liquid which returns. The working liquid repeats these processes. According to this constitution, a head loss can be made smaller than that in a system wherein hot water is caused to flow through pipes laid under the entire bottom of a floor. This results in reducing the cost of motive power equipment and the consumption of motive power.
