Abstract

PURPOSE: To shorten the response time of a panel type heat exchanger consisting of a vacuum container having work fluid sealded therein, by extending a heat pipe having a heating water pipe extended therethrough in the work fluid in a vaporizing section of the heat exchanger, and thereby accomplishing uniform heating of the vaporizing section.
CONSTITUTION: A heat pipe 5 is installed in the manner that it is immersed in work fluid 2 in a vaporizing section 3, and a heating water pipe 8 is extended through the inside of the heat pipe 5 in the manner that it is immersed in work fluid 6 in the heat pipe 5. With such an arrangement, work fluid 6 in the heat pipe 5 can be vaporized and heats the entire surface of heat pipe 5 as soon as hot water is passed through the pipe 8, so that work fluid 2 in the vaporizing section 3 can be heated almost simultaneously. By thus utilizing the uniform and rapid heating performance of the heat pipe 5, it is enabled to obtain uniform and rapid heating performance of the vaporizing section 3.
