Abstract

PURPOSE:To raise the heat recovering efficiency of the titled apparatus intended for recovering waste heat of a factory or the like between remote places, by constituting a heat receiving section and a heat emitting section of the heat exchanging apparatus respectively into sections for receiving and emitting heat to and from external fluids by forming in each of these section a vapor chamber and a working fluid chamber communicated with each other, and connecting the vapor chamber of the heat receiving section to the two chambers of the heat emitting section. CONSTITUTION:Working fluid delivered by a pump 3 is introduced into vaporizing tubes 8 from a working fluid sump 21 in a vapor chamber 14 of a heat receiving section and vaporized while absorbing heat of an external heat source fluid at a heat exchanging section 15. Here, working fluid not vaporized is carried back to the pump 3 from a working fluid chamber 16 of the section 1, while vaporized working fluid is carried via a vapor pipe 5 into a vapor chamber 17 of a heat emitting section 2 and flows down through the inside of condenser tubes 9. In doing so, the vapor of working fluid transmits heat to an external fluid to be heated. The working fluid thus condensed through transmission of heat to the external fluid is carried from the bottom of a working fluid returing chamber 19 of the section 2 to the vapor chamber 14 of the section 1 via the pump 3 and a supply pipe 7. With such an arrangement, it is enabled to recover heat smoothly and efficiently between the heat receiving and emitting sections located far from each other.
