Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve back-washing effect in a dry type dust collecting device for blast furnace gas during removing dust deposited on a filter cloth with back-washing, and to reduce the gas quantity required for back-washing, by giving mechanical vibrations to said filter cloth.
CONSTITUTION: A high temp. exhaust gas containing dust from a blast furnace 1 is passed through a rough particle dust collector 2, and is subjected to dust elimination through a dry type dust collecting device 3 comprising a plurality of element 3AW3F, and then is delivered to a gas holder 5 after passed through a turbine 8 driven electricity generator 7. During removing dust deposited on bag-filters 14AW14F in each element of a dry type dust collecting device 3, each element is subjected to dust removal one by one alternately with treated clean gas. In this stage, the removal of dust deposits is accomplished effectively with less quantity of back-washing gas through giving mechanical vibrations by means of repeated expansions and contractions given to the back-filter by interposing exhaust gas filtration and dust eliminations of normal gas flow in the midway of a back-washing operation.
