Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent turbine blades from attaching of dust when a turbine is driven by waste gas, by operating the turbine while cleaning the turbine with water admixed with a scale-preventive agent.
CONSTITUTION: After waste gas discharged from blast furnace 1 is removed of dust by dust catcher 2 by way of dry type dust collecting method, it is further removed of dust in the first-stage scrubber 3 by way of wet type dust collecting method. Then, waste gas is supplied to gas turbine 5 via duct 4 for rotating turbine blades. Exhaust gas of gas turbine 5 is discharged to the outside via duct 6 and silencer 7, after dust contained therein is removed in the second-stage scrubber 8 by way of wet type dust collecting method. On the other hand, supernatant water in thickener 10 is taken out via pipe 11 to gas turbine 5 for cleaning gas turbine 5 while admixing a scale-preventive agent from tank 12 by means of pump 13. After cleaning of turbine 5, dust-containing cleaning water is carried via pipe 14 to thickener 10 for separation of liquid and solid.
