Abstract

PURPOSE:To make disposition of waste particles easy by drying a filter for collecting the particles contained in exhaust gas by the heat of exhaust gas, after washing the filter with water, is washed, and then by solidifying the particles for removal. CONSTITUTION:When a filter 7 for collecting particles contained in exhaust gas of an engine 1 is clogged, washing water in a reservoir 18 is sent by pressure, which is sprayed on the filter 7 from a nozzle 16 through a valve 12 and the dust is washed with the washing water and removed. Although the flowed down dust is stored in the bottom of an air separator 4, the dust is sent to a recovery separator 2 which is heated by an exhaust pipe 10 through a valve 14, a pump 13 and a valve 12 at an appropriate stage. Thus, the washing water is vaporized, the dust is solidified and removed by taking out from the recovery separator 2 properly.
