Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a VCO with excellent performance, by providing an N type MOSFET between a power supply voltage and the source of a P type MISFET of an oscillator and a P type MISFET between the ground potential and the source of an N type MISFET of the oscillator. CONSTITUTION:An N type MISFET-T01 is provided between the power supply voltage VDD and the source of a P type MISFET of a ring oscillator, and a P type MISFET is provided between the ground potential VG and the source of an N type MISFET of the ring oscillator. Thus, the output of a converting circuit changes by taking an intermediate potential between the VDD and VG, i.e., (VDD-VG)/2 as a center as shown in Figure, by inputting a suitably processed input to both the N type MISFET and the P type MISFET, allowing to constitute a VCO convenient to applications such as signal transmission to the next stage circuits.
