Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase the mounting density and to enable cost down and high performance when the electronic device is constituted, by connecting the first stage and the final stage in cascade connection and controlling the power supply current of each stage. CONSTITUTION:MOSFETs 306 and 307 constitute an inverting circuit, and MOSFETs 305 and 308 are FETs to control flowing current, which control flowing current of the inverter by controlling the gate voltage symmetrically from the power supply potentials VDD and VSS. The cells like these are in cascade connection with an odd number of stages, and the output of the final stage is fed back to the input of the first stage. The flowing current to each inverter is controlled with the control voltage VC given at the control terminal 311 to control the oscillating frequency. With this constitution, the added capacitance of the oscillation circuit can be lowered to a parasitic capacitance, allowing to increase the circuit impedance by the amount.
