Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide power to the exterior in the utilization of siphonage by making liquid in an upper tank fall in a large diameter pipe through a small diameter pipe under siphonage and by returning the fallen liquid together with gas into a lower tank so that the liquid in the lower tank ascends along with the gas under differential pressure. CONSTITUTION:Holding the whole of a system under equal pressure, liquid in an upper tank 1 falls into a large diameter pipe 4 through a small diameter pipe 5 under siphonage so that a turbine 8 and a pump 9 are driven, and the fallen liquid together with gas existing therearound are introduced into a lower tank 1a. Therefore, pressure in the upper tank 1 is reduced at this time so that the liquid and the gas in the lower tank 1a have an increased pressure producing differential pressure which causes the liquid and the gas in the lower tank 1a to ascend to the upper tank 1, as an air bubble pump, under siphonage through a small diameter pipe 7. Since pressure in the system is constant as above-mentioned, difference between the potential energy of the liquid and the pressure energy of the pump 9 for delivering the fallen liquid into the lower tank 1a may be taken out to the exterior.
