Abstract
PURPOSE:To recover energy generated by sway of a hull by a providing a turbine, which operates by means of fluid circulating which sway of the hull, in a gas communicating pipe which connects upper parts of a pair of gas-liquid tanks provided separately, or in a liquid communicating pipe which connects lower parts of said gas-liquid tanks. CONSTITUTION:The starboard gas-liquid tank 2 and the port gas-liquid tank 3, both containing air and water, are provided separately and forming a counterpart with each other. While lower parts of both tanks 2, 3 are connected to each other by means of a liquid communicating pipe 4, their upper parts are connected to each other by means of a gas communicating pipe 5. Further, two sets of whales turbines 9, provided inside the gas communicating pipe 5, are connected to a fly-wheel 10 and a generator 11 through an axis 12. Accordingly, at rolling of a hull 1, the turbines 9 are rotated by means of air current in the gas communicating pipe 5 and the energy is recovered.
