Abstract
PURPOSE:To accurately control the temperature of an engine, by providing a control circuit which receives an engine wall temperature signal to regulate a driver which drives a water pump at a variable speed ratio to the revolution of the engine. CONSTITUTION:The output signal of a temperature sensor 14 for detecting the temperature of the wall surface of an engine is applied to a temperature detection circuit 23. The output signal of a crank angle sensor 24 is applied to a crank angle detection circuit 25. The outputs of the temperature detection circuit 23 and the crank angle detection circuit 25 are applied to a sampling circuit 26 so that the output of the circuit 23 is sampled at a prescribed crank angle. The output of the sampling circuit 26 is applied to an output current control circuit 27 for regulating an electrical current to be supplied to a motor 12 for driving a water pump. A transistor Tr and a relay MR are operated through an amplifier circuit 28 to drive the motor 12 depending on the temperature of the wall of the engine.
