For example, in processing the weight signal from a balance part 43 in an AD conversion circuit 40 then making necessary operations in a CPU31, a status switch 24 for setting various conditions of digit process, zero suppression, etc., and a parity switch 23 for matching the parities thereof are prepared, and necessary items are stored in an RAM34, whereby whether the total of the contents of the parity memory and the condition setting memory coincide with check data or not is judged and error checking is accomplished.
