Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain fuel supply in the amount to meet its using condition in such a way that the inflow path of an acceleration pump is communicated to the outflow path, and the area of this communicating path is adjusted.
CONSTITUTION: A gasoline outflow path 26 to communicate to an accelerating fuel injection nozzle 28 is communicated at its intermediate part through a communicating path 35 to a gasoline inflow path 25 which is led to the inner bottom part of the second float chamber 12, and the opening area of this communicating path 35 is changed by a regulating check valve which are assembled with a ball valve 37, a throttle hole 39, etc. When an acceleration pump 20 operates, and pressure in the path 26 becomes higher than the determined value, a check valve 27 is opened, and gasoline is sent to a nozzle under pressure, but in this case, both the ball valve 37 and the throttle hole 39 of the rgulating check valve are opened, so that gasoline in the path 35 is partly returned to the path 25. In consequence, gasoline quantity which is injected through the nozzle 28 can be changed by adjusting the gasoline quantity to be returned through the communicating path 35 to the path 25.
