Abstract

PURPOSE: To attempt to miniaturize electromagnetic valves by arranging a pressure increasing mechanism in a fuel injecting device.
CONSTITUTION: An oil pressure of a low oil pressure source 3 is caused to act on an operating oil chamber 14 at one end of a change-over valve 5 consisting of a spool valve, through an injection timing setting electromagnetic valve 11, and similarly fuel is sent back to a fuel reservoir tank 16 via an electromagnetic valve 12. An oil pressure of a high oil pressure source 2 is caused to act on an operating oil chamber 18 on the other side of the above change-over valve 5. Within bores 7 and 6 formed at the lower part of the oil chamber 18, there are arranged unitarily a large-diameter piston 9 and a small-diameter plunger 8 thereby forming a pressure increasing mechanism. Further, the low oil pressure source 3 communicates with the nozzle 10 of an injector 1 through a quantity regulating control electromotive valve 13 and check valves 24 and 25. Further, in the course form the power source 3 to the nozzle 10, there is formed a spill circuit comprising a pump chamber 23, a vertical hole 27, grooves 26 and 28 and a spill passage 26a.
