Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable connection of a load abnormality detecting circuit without disconnecting a device to be measured from a power supply by using a clamp- on meter for a load current detecting unit and by comparing a detection value thereof with a load voltage by a comparator. CONSTITUTION:A clamp-on meter 6 is connected by clipping to a line between a power supply unit 4 and a load 5, and resistors 7 and 8 are inserted between the meter 6 and a terminal of the unit 4 positioned on the side whreto the meter 6 is not connected. A line between the resistors 7 and 8 is connected to the side of a comparison terminal 14 of a comparator 9, while the side of a reference terminal of the comparator 9 is connected to a line on the clip-connected side of the meter 6.
