Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable simple detection of abnormality in a fuse provided in each arm of a rectifier circuit by detecting the failure in establishing AND conditions between a pulse signal from a means of generating pulses and a firing pulse signal from a firing pulse detector. CONSTITUTION:A means of generating rising or tailing pulses is provided on each arm composing a bridge having a fuse 5 and a rectifier 4 to detect current flowing through a rectifier circuit 1 for feeding DC power to a load 3 by rectifying AC. In addition, a firing pulse detector is provided to detect a firing pulse signal of each rectifier 4. When AND condition fails to be established between signals both from the pulse generating means and firing pulse detector, an abnormality detection signal is outputted from an abnormality detector to detect abnormality of a fuse 5.
