Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain stable display by calculating average value of samples from digital signals that correspond to the values of measurement at a specified period and renewing display when the magnitude relation between an average value and display data recurs for specified times. CONSTITUTION:A fuel sensor 1 outputs a voltage level that corresponds to the up-and-down movement of the float, and this output is converted into a digial signal by means of a transducer 2. Signal that changes with the variation of the liquid level is renewed and retained by a latch circuit 3 and data is output to an addition circuit 4, and an average value of sampling data during tha period of addition is calculated, and the result is shfited to memories 7(1)-7(n), and the average value is transferred to an average value circuit 8. In the circuit 8 all averages of sampling data are calculated, and they are compared with the displayed data of the latch circuit 10 by means of a digital comparator 9. If an average with specified difference occurs continuously several times, the displayed data is renewed by a comparator 13.
