Abstract

PURPOSE:To absorb variation in measured quantity due to external causes by sampling at a specified period the digital signal that corresponds to measuring values such as residual amount of fuel, etc. and comparing differences from a display value to change the display value when accumulation value reaches a specified value. CONSTITUTION:Analog signal that corresponds to a residual amount of fuel is converted to digital signal at a specified sampling period at an A/D converter 2. A latch circuit 3 renews and holds the digital signal that changes continuously due to change in the liquid level and outputs to a comparator 4. The comparator 4 is connected to a display unit 5 that contains a decoder driver and compares the data at present held in a latch circuit 6 and the data in the circuit 3 and transfers to an up-down counter 7. The result of addition is supplied to a comparator 8 and there compared with a specified value stored in a memory 9 and renews the data dislayed in a circuit 6 and at the same time clears the counter 7. A time signal generating circuit T clears the counter 7 when the value of accumulated addition does not reach a specified value in a specified time to prevent renewal by an accumulation value in a long time.
