Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a smooth operation by a method wherein a means for forcing back an output shaft to the direction closing the throttle valve in the actuator in which the output shaft is reciprocated through a gear group and a screw engagement by the revolution of a D.C. motor. CONSTITUTION:In said actuator, when the D.C. motor 8 is rotated, the torque thereof is transmitted to the first to third gears 10, 11, 15 and the output shaft held in the non-rotatable state by an outer shell member 14 makes a linear motion through the screw engagement, as a result, the throttle valve is driven so as to open or closed through a lever attached to one end of the output shaft 7. A bellows-like covering member 18, one end of which is held in the groove 14a of the outer shell member 14 and the other end thereof is held in the groove 7a of the output shaft 7 respectively and compressible in the axial direction thereof, is provided additionally. According to such constitution, a stabilizing force is exerted to the covering member 18 when the output shaft 7 is projected to the expremity thereof and the third gear 15 has come to a position making an idle rotation, while the output shaft 7 is forced against the third gear 15 by this stabilizing force and a smooth screw transmission may be permitted.
