Abstract
PURPOSE: To simplify the mechanism of deceleration, etc., by providing two threads of different pitches to a shaft turned by a motor for a device to open or close a flow rate valve by shifting a rod in the axial direction by the rotation of the motor.
CONSTITUTION: When the stepping power of an accelerator pedal (not illustrated) is lost and the rod 14 is pressed to the right direction by the spring 24 and the lever 4, the stopper 12, along with the rod 14 and the shaft 8, is pressed to the right direction and the switch 22 is turned ON by the lever 21. At this time, when the motor 6 is turned by the computer 5, the shaft 8 is turned while being decelerated by the gears 7 and 9. When the screw 10 is a 0.8 pitched right handed screw and the screw 11 is a 0.7 pitched right handed screw, for example, the stopper 12 and the rod 14 are relatively separated from each other by 0.1mm when turning the shaft 8 to the right and the rod 14 is shifted to the left by 0.1mm. Thus, the throttle valve 2 is opened by as much as a given opening degree.
