Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain firmly secured interlocking action for multithrow carburetor suitable for a motor cycle by setting reel type lever at the opposite end of each throttle valve shaft and by linking those shafts with S-letter wound malleable wire. With this system, the device itself can be made smaller.
CONSTITUTION: With a double throw carburetor, each of the throttle valve shafts 5, 6 of carburetors 1, 2 with relevant reverse direction incoming air current system is fixed with reel type levers 7, 8 to the inward direction of each relevant valve shaft. Each of the relevant reel type levers 7, 8 is S-letter wound with malleable wire 12. The other end of throttle valve shaft 5 is fixed with lever 16, which functions to motivate the throttle valve 3 to the closing direction by the operation of the accelerator pedal 18 by use of the returning spring 9. The throttle valve shaft rotates to the opening direction by the operation of accelerator pedal 18. Release of the pedal 18 will return it to the closing direction by the action of spring 9; in which case, it stops at the contact of the lever 16 on the idle adjustment screw 15.
