Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the operability of an opening and closing device for a water gate without releasing the gearing state of a clutch device during periods other than the period when the door of the water gate goes down by gravity by a method in which a manual handle is connected to the clutch shaft through a gear mechanism having a clutch device and a self-locking function. CONSTITUTION:When the output shaft 13a of a rotary driver 13 turns, its rotation force is transmitted to a worm gear 9, a side gear 3 is turned, and a shaft 5 is turned. This is a reason why a worm gear 33 is fixed to a lutch shaft 25 by a clutch device 31 and also engaged with a worm provided to the shaft 38a of a manual handle 38, and thereby the clutch shaft 25 becomes self-locked state to make the rotation of the side gear 4 impossible. When the shaft 5 turns, a rack 23 for vertically moving the water gate door is moved vertically by the rotation of a pin gear 22 to vertically move the door of the water gate. When turning the manual handle 13, the side gear 3 is self-locked, the side gear 4 is turned, its rotation is transmitted to the pin gear 22, and the rack 23 is moved vertically.
