Abstract

PURPOSE:To take solar light effectively into a room by collecting the solar light with a condenser lens, removing IR rays therefrom, introducing said light as parallel luminous fluxes to the outside of the room, splitting the luminous fluxes, conveying the same through optical fibers and projecting these fluxes as scattered light. CONSTITUTION:The solar light introduced through a condenser lens 1a into a condenser 1 is made into parallel luminous fluxes by a lens 1c via an IR cutting filter 1b. These parallel luminuous fluxes are branched by a spliter 3a through a main light conveying pipe 2. One of the branched luminous fluxes goes through a branch light conveying pipe 5A, is focused by a condensing lens 5C, and is bisected by passing through optical fibers 9, after which the split rays are irradiated by irradiation lamps 12A, B consisting of a small reflection plate 10 and a reflection plate 11. The other luminous flux is emitted similarly from an optical fiber pipe 8B through a light curving device 4a and a branch pipe 2B and is irradiated as scattered light via a light emission plate 13. Therefore, the solar light is taken into the room efficiently.
