Abstract
PURPOSE:To prolong the effective life of a solar battery by emitting a light guided from the first optical system for tracking and condensing solar light via an optical fiber into a spacecraft to the second optical system and emitting it to a solar battery cell. CONSTITUTION:A solar light is guide from the first optical system 2 for tracking and condensing the solar light via an optical fiber 3 into a spacecraft. The light from the optical fiber is emitted to the second optical system 4, and is then emitted to a solar battery cell 5. Thus, the effective life of the solar battery extends, thereby increasing the degree of freedoms for the mounting position.
