In this state, in case when write exceeding the upper limit address of the stack area has been executed, an interruption is generated, contents of the stack are saved into a storage area, and in case when read-out exceeding the lower limit address has been executed, the saved information is restored by generating an interruption, and read-out is continued. Subsequently, a signal IR of interruption compares the contents of the pointer with the upper limit address 10 and the lower limit address 12 by comparators 14, 16, and outputs its result from an OR circuit 18.
