PURPOSE:To perform registration correction with a simple constitution and sufficient accuracy, by providing a correcting signal current driving circuit independently of a vertical deflection driving circuit and supplying a correction current directly to a deflection coil. CONSTITUTION:A correction signal current driving circuit 20 forms a constant current amplifying circuit, outputs a correction signal current according to a correction signal (c) applied from a correction signal generating circuit 4, and supplies the current to a deflection coil 3. On the other hand, a vertical deflection current driving circuit 21 also forms a constant current amplifying circuit, outputs a current according to a saw tooth signal (a) applied from a vertical deflection signal generating circuit 1 and supplies the output to the coil 3. Thus, a geometrical distortion due to nonuniformity of the deflection magnetic field with the coil 3 can be corrected and correct deflection is performed. In this case, since the circuit 21 receives the signal (a) only, it is not necessary to employ an amplifier with broad band characteristics. On the other hand, since the circuit 20 also handles a signal (c) of comparatively small amplitude, even if a broad band amplifier is used, the cost is not so much increased.
