Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase the fidelity of the circuit characteristics through the correction of distortion of a video signal, by supplying the output from an image sensor to a peak follower circuit and a diode circuit and amplifying the output of both the circuits differentially. CONSTITUTION:A video signal in the output of an image sensor C<4>D1 is kept to the peak value with a peak follower circuit 7 and it is output to a + input terminal of a differential amplif circuit 6. The feedback input from the output side in which the zero level is at the reference value is fed to the - input terminal and also a diode 8 compensating the drop share of a diode included in the circuit 7 is connected to the - input terminal. Thus, since the high potential side of the video input signal can be a given reference value, a signal in which the black side maximum value of the video signal is taken as zero volt and the white side maximum value is taken as a given negative voltage by means of clamp processing is output from the output terminal of a clamp circuit 3.
