Abstract
PURPOSE:To generate sawtooth waves of similar figure with different frequencies, by controlling the switching operation of a switching device changing over positive and negative input voltages inputted to a CR integrator. CONSTITUTION:Positive and negative input voltages are switched at a switching device 5 controlled with the output of an FF18 and applied to a CR integrator consisting of a high gain amplifier 8, an integrating capacitor 9, and an integrating resistor 7. The respective outputs of the CR integrator are compared at comparators 11 and 12 having positive and negative reference voltages, respecively, the FF18 is set with the output of the comparator 11 and reset with the output of the comparator 12. Thus, a sawtooth wave is outputted from an output terminal 20. In this case, the frequency of the sawtooth wave can be adjusted by adjusting a voltage adjuster 21 forming the positive and negative reference voltages. Thus, sawtooth waves of similar figure with different frequencies can be generated with a simple circuit.
