Abstract
PURPOSE:To make manufacture equipment compact by pressing a light metal plate which acts as a negative material and a current collector with roller to form a negative electrode for an organic electrode battery. CONSTITUTION:Light metal plates 11 with a current collector 12 in between are fed between a set of rollers 13 and pressed to form a negative plate 14. The light metal 11 is preferable to be rolled to a thickness of 70-95% compared with the thickness before rolling from the point of the adhesive force between the current collector and the light metal plate. When the light metal plate 11 and the current collector 12 are heated before rolling, or the rollers 13 are heated with a heater, the malleability of the light metal increases and the new surface of the light metal plate 11 appears to increase the adhesive force.
