Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the airtightness of the collector by a structure wherein a U-shape heat transfer medium tube arranged within a transparent outer tube penetrates a metallic end plate at one end of the outer tube and the heat transfer medium tube and the end plate are sealed each other through an eyelet at the solar heat collector equipped with the transparent outer tube, the interior of which is made vacuous. CONSTITUTION:The solar heat collector consists of the transparent outer tube 1 made of glass or the like with one end closed and with the other end sealingly attached with the metallic end plate 8, within which a heat collecting plate 2 made of aluminum, copper, iron or the like and the U-shape heat transfer medium tube 3 is housed. Heat transfer medium 5 such as water or the like is circulated within the heat transfer medium tube 3. In the collector as described above, the eyelet 12 consisting of metal tube such as copper tube, stainless steel tube or the like is put onto the outer periphery of the heat transfer medium tube 3 at the position where the tube 3 penetrates the metallic end plate 8. The eyelet 12 and the metallic end plate 8 are sealingly jointed by brazing or the like at the position as indicated with the numeral 13 antecedently of the sealing of an airtightly sticking part 9 and at the same time the eyelet 12 and the heat transfer medium tube are also sealingly jointed by brazing or the like at the position as indicated with the numeral 15. Owing to the structure as described above, the generation of rupture and strain at the sticking part can be prevented.
