Abstract
855,890. Electromagnetic switches. SIEMENS & HALSKE A.G. March 3, 1959 [May 14, 1958], No. 7361/59. Class 38 (5). [Also in Group XXXVI] A gas-filled sealed contact-device comprises magnetic springs 2, 3 sealed in a glass tube 1 and coated with copper 5 over most of their length including the seal 6 which is tapered at the outside of the tube. The springs 2, 3 are of nickel-iron and coated at the contact areas with gold subjected to diffusion heating.
