Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide an apparatus capable of maintaining characterisctics constant for a long time by driving a rotor through a shaft of an impeller with the rotation of the impeller on the flow of a fluid to obtained electrical pulse signals and additionally detecting the temperature thereof with a temperature detecting element. CONSTITUTION:A body 1 is provided with a chamber 7 fluidically independent of a passage 4 while a shaft 10 is provided along the axis of the body 1 from the chamber 7 to the passage 4. An impeller 16 is mounted on the shaft 10 in the passage 4 and a rotor 21 with a magnetic substance 25 is mounted on the shaft 10 within the chamber 7. Accordingly, the chamber 7 won't make up a part of the passage 4, which prevents rust or the like contained in a fluid from attaching to the magnetic substance 25 thereby enabling accurate measurement of flow rate for a long time. In addition, the temperature of the fluid in the passage 4 can be detected accurately with a temperature detecting element 41.
