Abstract
PURPOSE:To permit viewing of a reflection type screen over a wide range, and make luminance high by forming a thin layer consisting of porous fine particles on a rough surface formed on the surface of a polyester film sheet by forming numerous fine scratching flaws thereon. CONSTITUTION:Numerous scratching flaws 2 are formed in a hairline form on a transparent heat-resistant polyester film sheet 1 of 20-30mum thicknesses in its longitudinal direction fully to the transverse width of the sheet by means of a rotator planted with fine wires of about 30-50mu sizes. Since the purpose of the scratching flaws are for causing diffusion and reflection, they are formed to the thickness at least more than half the thickness of the film (>=10mu). A reflection surface 3 is formed on the rear surface of the sheet 1 by vapor deposition of aluminum or the like. A diffusion and reflection layer 6 coated with a transparent epoxy resin soln. incorporating a porous fine particle material (silica gel) 5 is provided on the top surface of the scratched diffuse reflection surface 2.
